Our Purpose
FOCUS HARAMAYA was established in 2005 G.C. Since then, the fellowship has been working on spreading the Gospel, helping Christian students to be well formed and informed with the Word of God and grow into Christ-likeness, equipping and alerting students to the global mission work of the Church, and also equipping students with leadership skills and practices so that they reflect biblical leadership values and become effective leaders in their local churches and every position they are placed to lead. Our purpose is to see a generation of students passionately living for Christ, grounded in Scripture, and prepared to impact their campuses, communities, and the nations with integrity, compassion, and excellence — shining as beacons of hope in every sphere of society.

Our Campus
Haramaya University is a public institution and the second oldest university in Ethiopia. The University has undergone transformations since its establishment and now operates across three campuses.
The main campus—Haramaya Main Campus—is the nerve center of the University, located about 510 km east of Addis Ababa, between Dire Dawa and Harar. The second campus is in Harar Town, home to the College of Health and Medical Sciences, including Hiwot Fana Specialized facilities. With its blend of academia, agriculture, and commerce, Haramaya stands as a symbol of progress and opportunity in Ethiopia.
